Book Fairs



Dear Parents and Families:

 

Reading is the most important skill you can teach a child. Of all the skills children learn, it is the one you can influence the most. We invite you to visit our Scholastic Book Fair and experience a celebration of reading that provides families the opportunity to get involved in a universal mission: encouraging kids to read every day so they can lead better lives.

We will have two Scholastic Book Fairs this year: one in October and another in February! Both during Parent-Teacher Conferences weeks. Please make plans to visit our Book Fair. Hope to see you there!
 Last year our Book Fairs were a huge success! Thanks to all who came to buy books!
We were able to raise hundreds in scholastic dollars and we purchased more than 1000 new books for our Library for all students to enjoy!

If you’re all booked up during Book Fair week (or just want to keep shopping), be sure to visit the Book Fair online at www.scholastic.com/fair (http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/orangewoodelemsch). 

·         Find an expanded selection of books for the whole family—preschool to adults

·         Share your Book Fair with family and friends by sending wish lists or eCards

·         All orders ship to school for FREE and each purchase benefits our school.

Our February Book Fair will take place during the week of Parent-Teacher Conferences. Monday and Tuesday will be preview days when everybody can come and look at the selection of books and gift items and fill out their wish lists. We will sell books on:

Wednesday: during school hours
Thursday:  8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday: during school hours

We will accept cash and credit/debit cards. No checks please! Hope to see you there!

October Book Fair is here!!!

 The online Book Fair is available for an extended time from October 18th to October 30th.
